1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Bridge platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and The Bridge ("we", "us", "our"), a platform operated from Algeria.
2. Eligibility
To use The Bridge, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
If you are using The Bridge on behalf of an organization (company, bank, or entity), you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. User Accounts
Registration
You must create an account to access most features of The Bridge. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed.
Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
One Account Per Person
Each individual may maintain only one account on The Bridge. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or fees is strictly prohibited.
4. Platform Roles
The Bridge supports four distinct user roles, each with specific capabilities:
- Startup: Publish projects, receive investment offers, and find resources
- Individual Investor: Browse startups, contact founders, and track investment opportunities
- Company / Bank: Access full project dossiers, publish calls for projects, and conduct B2B partnerships
- Resource Seller: List physical assets (warehouses, equipment, etc.) for startup rental
All new users begin with a Guest role, which provides read-only access to public posts. To access full features, you must upgrade to a specific role and agree to any role-specific terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use The Bridge for any of the following:
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Harassing, threatening, or defaming other users
- Uploading malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempting to access other users' accounts or private data
- Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to collect data from the platform
- Using the platform for any illegal activity under Algerian law
- Circumventing platform fees, restrictions, or security measures
- Spamming or sending unsolicited commercial messages
We reserve the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination.
6. User Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you post on The Bridge, including project descriptions, documents, and messages. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content for the purpose of operating the platform.
Content Standards
- All content must be accurate: and truthful
- Business documents and financial projections must reflect genuine information
- You must have the right to post any content you share
- Content must comply with applicable laws and regulations
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate, at our sole discretion.
7. Payments & Fees
Fee Structure
- Post fees: DZD 500 per post published (applies to all roles)
- Monthly subscription: DZD 2,000/month for direct messaging and contact access
- Annual B2B plan: DZD 15,000/year for companies and banks
No Commission Policy
Refund Policy
Post fees are non-refundable once a post is published. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused subscription time.
8. Intellectual Property
The Bridge platform, including its design, logos, trademarks, code, and original content, is the intellectual property of The Bridge and is protected by Algerian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our explicit written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Bridge serves as a marketplace and networking platform. We do not:
- Guarantee any investment returns or business outcomes
- Make representations about the accuracy of user-generated content
- Mediate or arbitrate disputes between users
- Provide financial, legal, or investment advice
To the maximum extent permitted by Algerian law, The Bridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Termination
By You
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@thebridge.dz. Upon termination, your profile and content will be removed within 30 days.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:
- You violate these Terms or our policies
- Your account is involved in fraudulent or illegal activity
- You fail to pay required fees
- We are required to do so by law
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Algiers, Algeria.
